Subject Matter Specialist, Assistant Specialist, Ministry of Commerce & Industry
Ministry of Commerce & Industry is a governing body that was established under the Government of India. The main functions of the ministry is to administers two departments named Department of Commerce and the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion. The ministry is headed by a Minister of Cabinet rank. Anand Sharma is the minister of Commerce and Industry since March 2011. Anand Sharma is assisted by Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia, who is the minister of State for Commerce & Industry. Both the departments are entrusted with different functionalities.
Job Profile:
Eligible Indian nationals are invited to apply for the following positions of Subject Matter Specialist, Assistant Specialist and Junior Liasion Officer in Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Candidates are required to ensure their eligibility for the desired post before applying for it. Selected candidates will have to serve the ministry at Bangalore.
1. Recruitment of Subject Matter Specialist:
No. of posts: Only 8 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 30 to 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be holding a Post Graduate Degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
2. Recruitment of Assistant Specialist:
No. of posts: Only 8 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age less than 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be holding a Post Graduate Degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.
3. Recruitment of Junior Liason Officer:
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age less than 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be holding a Graduate Degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate in Agriculture or Horticulture.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Application Fee:
The amount of prescribed application fee that is need to be paid by General and OBC categories candidates is Rs. 150 only. SC/ST/Physically Challenged/ Women candidates are need not to pay any application fee. The application fee must be submitted through a Demand Draft or Indian Postal Oder drawn in favour of COFFEE BOARD GENERAL FUND NON-PLAN ACOOUNT, payable at Bangalore.
Selection Process:
Final selections of eligible candidates will be made only on the basis of their performance in the personal interview test.
