Profile:

Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) was established in the year 1916 under the Government of india. It comes under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The major objective of the institute is to perform research activities on crop husbandry of coconut, arecanut, cocoa, oilpalm, cashew and spices. The institute has a wide research network in the country with having four regional stations, four research centres and twenty centers under AICRP.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of T-6 Subject Matter Specialist and T-3 Program Assistant in Central Plantation Crops Research Institute depending on their qualification and skills.

1. Recruitment of T-6 Subject Matter Specialist:
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 25 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Horticulture from recognized institute or university is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of T-3 Programme Assistant:
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 30 years of age.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Agriculture Extensions from recognized institute or university is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

Age Limit:

Reserved category candidates will be provided relaxation is age as per government rules. No age limit for ICAR employees.

Selection Process:

Selection of the candidaes on the above two posts will be made on the basis of their performance in the written test as well as the personal interview test.
