The posts of Subject Matter Specialist are available in the disciplines of Agronomy, Horticulture, Agriculture Extension, Plant Protection, Soil Science and Agricultural Engineering.

1. Recruitment of Programme Coordinator:
No. of posts: Only 18 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set for the post is 45 years as on 1 January 2011.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or Agriculture Engineering & Technology from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should have passed the prescribed minimum educational qualification with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.

2. Recruitment of Subject Matter Specialist:
No. of posts: Only 25 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set for the post is 40 years as on 1 January 2011.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or Agriculture Engineering from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should have passed the prescribed minimum educational qualification with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

3. Recruitment of Farm Manager:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set for the post is 32 years as on 1 January 2011.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should have passed the prescribed minimum educational qualification with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Application fee for the post of Subject Matter Specialist: Rs. 300 only.
Application fee for the post of Farm Manager: Rs. 200 only.
