Punjab Agricultural University is located in the beautiful city of Ludhiana, Punjab. The university cover an area of approximately 15 hundred acres for its main campus. It is actually a State Agricultural university present in India. It is second oldest agricultural university present in India after Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar. Mr. Baldev Singh Dhillon is on the position of Vice Chancellor in the university. The university was founded in the year 1962. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following positions of Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Science), Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Protection), Deputy Curator and Farm Managers at KVKs in Punjab Agricultural University. Candidates are required to ensure their eligibility for post, they are applying for.

1. Recruitment of Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Science) at KVK:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 60 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required possess M.V.Sc. or M.Sc. in Livestock Production & Management or Animal Breeding or Animal Breeding & Genetics or Animal Nutritions with minimum 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Protection) at KVK:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 60 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required possess Master’s degree in Entomology with minimum 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

3. Recruitment of Deputy Curator:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 37 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required possess M.Sc. degree in Zoology or Entomology with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4400.

4. Recruitment of Farm Managers at KVKs:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 37 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required possess B.Sc. in Agriculture from a recognized university. Candidates should have adequate knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric standard.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Application Fee:

A Demand Draft of prescribed amount of application fee is need to be sent by the candidates in support of their application form. The demand draft should be made in favour of Comptroller, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana payable at Ludhiana.

For the post of Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Science/ Plant Protection): Rs. 500 is the amount of application fee.

For the post of Deputy Curator and Farm Managers: Rs. 300 is the amount of application fee.
