Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Rajasthan was established in the year 2008 as a public university. The institute has an urabn campus spreaded in approximately 900 acres. The institute is one of the eight new Indian Institute of Technolgy (IITs) which have been functioning from year 2008 onwards. Prem K. Kalra is the current chairman of the institute. The first academic session in Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur actually commenced in the month of August, 2008. The institute actually came into existence under the MHRD, Government of India.

Application Fee:

Candidates should send a non refundable demand draft of requisite application fee alongwith their applications. The amount of application fee is Rs. 100 for all candidates. However, SC/ST/PH candidates are not required to submit the demand draft. The demand draft should be made in favour of The Director, Indian Institute of Technology Rajasthan payable at Jodhpur.

How to apply: Application form dully filled in the prescribed format should be sent alongwith the supporting enclosures to the prescribed address on or before the last date for the reciept of application. The envelope containing the enclosures must be superscribed as “Application for the post of ________________”. Application recieved after due date will not be accepted by the institute.
