THE Graph theory and combinatorics paper is a very uncommon paper, and is taught in very less universities and institution in India. Amongst those rare universities, the most famous and the most reniowned one offering this course is VedaVyasa institute of technology, under Calicut University. The paper forms a part of the course curriculum.

Paper description:

The paper of Graph Theory and Combinatorics deals with the study of problems on structures. The study also reflects on the problem solution by means of graph plotting and graphical solution. The paper also deals with the study of different types of combination and the solution of problems through that combination. The paper demands high conceptual knowledge and a practical vision with prime objective of problem solving.

Frequently asked question:

The questions that are generally asked in the paper every year, deals with problems on combination and graph plotting. The problems on graphs get repeated almost every year. These problems are to be solved by plotting the points on graph and then calculating the ordinates and other required observations.

Paper pattern:

The paper pattern of Vedavyasa Institute of Technology B.Tech in Computer Science-6th sem Graph Theory and Combinatorics Paper is similar to other papers of Calicut University. All together the paper has 21 questions in it and these 21 questions are basically divided into two main sections, Section A and B. Section A has 16 questions in it, out of which 12 are to be answered. This section carries a total of 60 marks with every question of 5 marks each. Section B of the paper has 5 questions in it and all are compulsory to be answered. However, few questions are provided with internal choices. Every question in this section is of 8 marks each, summing up to 40 marks for the entire section.
