The Catholic Syrian Bank Limited is a private sector bank located in the city of Thrissur in the state of Kerala. The bank has over 125 ATMs, an extension counter, more than 350 branches and more than 80% of the branches are located in rural and semi-urban areas of the country.

The Catholic Syrian Bank Limited has called for applications from eligible candidates for clerical cadre vacancies for filling up of positions in branches outside the state of Kerala and the details regarding the notifications are given below:

Name of the Vacancy: Clerks

Number of Vacancies: 100

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of clerk will come under the pay brand of Rs.7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300. At the present rate of DA, starting total emoluments would be around Rs.14000/- pm.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: Candidates degree holders from a recognized Indian university in any discipline.

Age Requirement: Upper age limit to apply for the position is 28 years, which means that candidates must be born between 01st of July 1983 and 30th of June 1993. Relaxation of five years on upper age limit is applicable to SC/ST candidates.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in written test/skill test followed by interview. Candidates getting through the written/skill test will only be called for interview. The written test is fixed to be conducted on 25th of September 2011. Application fee:

The fee applicable for general category candidates is Rs.100 (SC/ST candidates need not pay fee). The fee can be paid in any branch of Catholic Syrian Bank by downloading the fee payment challan from the website of the bank and the amount should be paid to account number 231-2805353-195002 with College Road branch of the bank at Thrissur. Even fee can be paid to the account by NEFT from any other banks in India and in this case, candidates will have to submit the counterfoil of NEFT challan during written test.

How to apply:

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements, will have to apply online through the website of the bank at http://203.197.151.40:789/Application2011.aspx?p=CC11 between 3rd August and 16th of August 2011. Once application is made online, the system generated print out should be kept by the candidates for future reference and no other means of application will be accepted.
