From the previous academic year, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is conducting Common Written Exam separately for the recruitment of PO positions and Clerical positions.

SBI and SBI Associate Banks have not joined hands with IBPS and they are conducting their own selection procedure for the recruitment of these positions.

The selection procedure for both these Clerical and PO positions is by
-Written Exam
-Interview.

The written Exam consists of questions from the following categories.
-Reasoning
-Quantitative Aptitude
-General Awareness
-General English
-Computer Knowledge.

In order to be eligible for PO positions, one should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.

As per age criteria, one should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for PO written exams.

Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category.

To be eligible for IBPS Clerk Exam, one should have completed 12th class with a minimum of 50% of marks from a recognized institute.

Candidates who have completed their 10th class with a minimum of 60% of marks are also eligible to take up IBPS Clerk Exam.

One should be in the age group of 18-28 years to be eligible for IBPS Clerk Exam.

As per your academic qualifications, you are eligible to take up both PO or Clerk Written Exams.

But make sure yourself that you should posssess the required age to confirm your final eligibility.

For updated information on IBPS Exams, you can visit
