National Judicial Academy was established on August 17, 1993 under Government of India. The academic staff of the academy is consist of 23 personnels. The academy is basically a training institute funded by Government of India, primarily for Judicial Officers. The institute is registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. Professor G. Mohan Gopal is the Director of the institute. The institute is known for functioning as a centre of excellenece in judicial education, research and training. The inauguration of the institute’s building was done by President of India in the year 2002.

Applications are invited from professional and experienced individuals for the following positions of Additional Director, Professor, Assistant Professor, Research Fellow, Law Associate and Deputy Librarian in National Judicial Academy. Only suitable candidates will be recruited for faculty positions.

1. Recruitment of Additional Director (Research and Training):

Qualification: Candidates must have been a judge of High Court or a judicial officer with atleast ten years on the post of District Judge and Additional District Judge or equivalent.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 75500 per month.

2. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Qualification: Candidates must be an eminent scholar with atleast 10 years of experience in post graduate teaching and published work of high quality research.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Qualification: Candidates are required to have done Doctorate degree with good academic record and atleast 3 years of experience in research or teaching field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 7600.

4. Recruitment of Research Fellow:

Qualification: Candidates should have done LLB with good academic record and atleast 5 years of experience as a Judicial Officer or in teaching field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

5. Recruitment of Law Associate:

Qualification: Candidates are required to possess Degree in 5 years Law Graduate course with good written and oral communication skills.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 20000 per month.

6. Recruitment of Deputy Librarian:

Qualification: Candidates are required to have done Master’s degree in Library Science from a recognized university with atleast 10 years experience in relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 7600.
