In law, the judicial processes play a very vital role and so the Social Transformation and Judicial Process in India-I (LW-103) subject under University of Pune LLM Law has its own importance. The subject deals with the basic social laws in the democracy of India.

Objective of the subject:

Apart from exploring laws as a means to achieve development, the subject also focuses on empowering the disadvantaged sections of the society like women, backward classes and etc. It also explains the principles, goals and objectives of legislative formulations.

Paper Pattern:

The paper is of 60 marks and 3 hours is allotted for the exam. There are 8 questions in the paper and each question carries 15 marks. Any 4 of the 8 questions have to be answered. One question is generally on short notes and any 2 of the 4 options in the short note question needs to be answered.
