National Eligibility Test is regulated and maintained by the National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission and it is held two times in a year. By the help of this entrance test one can make way clear for the Junior Research Fellowship award. The students are needed to focus on the instruction mentioned in the questions booklet. Paper Description:

NET Buddhist, Jaina, Gandhian and Peace Studies (Paper III) Paper gives the detailed information about the life of Gautama Buddha. The paper also deals with the introduction to Budhism in Tibet, China, and Japan etc. The paper also includes the information about the architecture, sculpture of Buddhism and its effect on our society. The students also get touched with the socialistic lives and works of Buddhaghosa, Dharmakirti and Dignanga.

Paper Pattern:

All the questions of the Buddhist, Jaina, Gandhian and Peace Studies (Paper III) Papers are distributed in four different groups. First group holds a maximum of two questions, each question carries 20 marks. The 2nd group contains three questions and each carries 15 marks. Next section holds a total of nine questions and every question holds ten marks each. All the questions in this group are compulsory to attempt. The fourth and last section includes five questions of five marks each.

Total Time and Full Marks:

The Full marks set up for the NET Buddhist, Jaina, Gandhian and Peace Studies (Paper III) Papers is 200 and the students are allotted total time duration of two and half an hour to attempt all the compulsory questions.
