This paper is basically about the Islamic religion. The topics which are covered by this paper are rise of Islam, the Quran, Medieval Arab States, Dynasties of East and West etc.

Division of the paper:

The paper is divided into two sections as Section A and Section B. Section A of the paper contains questions which are short answer type and Section b contains the questions which are long answer type.

Time and marks allotted:

The total marks that could be secured in this paper are 200 (including both the sections).

Paper Pattern:

There are total 12 questions in this question paper. The question paper is divided into two sections Section A and Section B. Section A of the question paper contains a total of 10 questions and each of them carry a maximum of 160 marks. All the questions of this section are compulsory. However, some internal choices are provided for the ease of the students. All the questions of this carry equal marks. There is a word limit of 300 words per question on this paper. In the Section B, only one question is required to be attempted. This question is of 40 marks and the word limit for this Section is 800 words.
