APMC College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research came into existence in the millennium year 2000 to bring bright future, foresight and light to the field of Pharmaceutical education. The institute is offering pharmaceutical education with approval from Pharmacy Council of India, All India Council of Technical Education and with affiliation from the Heamachandracharya North Gujarat University located in Patan.

APMC College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research offers the following courses:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (Lateral Entry)

• Master of Pharmacy in

o Pharmacognosy

Intake Capacity:

APMC College of Pharmaceutical Education is permitted by the affiliating university to admit 60 students per year for the first-year B. Pharm course, 6 students per year under lateral entry scheme of B. Pharm, which is offered for diploma holders in Pharmacy and 10 students each for the Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacognosy courses.

Admission Process:

Admission to first year of the Bachelor of Pharmacy course is done by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses located in Ahmedabad. Out of the 60 seats, 45 seats are filled in this fashion and remaining 15 seats are management quota seats filled by the college itself. Admission to the Master of Pharmacy course is done by the same admission committee.

Achievements of the college:

APMC College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research regularly conducts blood donation camp and the college is known to be a potential blood donor in the city of Himatanagar in which it is located. In addition to offering UG and PG courses in the field of Pharmacy, APMC College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research also offers research facilities leading to Ph. D in the field of pharmacy. The college frequently conducts intercollegiate competition and the students of the college have won several honors in these competitions.
