Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology was established under the Government of India. The centre is actually a unit of Department of Atomic Energy which is responsible for performing research and development activities in the areas of Lasers, Particle Accelerators etc. The centre was initially named the Centre for Advanced Technology. The centre was renamed to Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology in the year 2006. The centre is located at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The campus of the centre is spreaded in an area of 760 hectare with staff housing colony and other basic amenities.

Job Profile:

Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology is making recruitment of eligible Indian citizens on the following positions of Stipendiary Trainees (Category-I) and Stipendiary Trainees (Category-II). Selections are to be made on regular basis but candidates will first have to undergo some training. Post of Stipendiary Trainees (Category-I) is available in the field of Physics, Mechanical, Electronics/Instrumentation. Post of Stipendiary Trainees (Category-II) is available in the field of Electronics/Instrumentation, Machinist/Miller, Fitter, Turner and Labortaory.

Eligibility:

Stipendiary Trainees (Category-I): The minimum age limit set for the post is 19 years while the maximum age limit set for the post is 24 years.

Stipendiary Trainees (Category-II): The minimum age limit set for the post is 18 years while the maximum age limit set for the post is 22 years.

All reserved categories candidates may get relaxation of few years in the maximum age limit or upper age limit set for the specified positions in Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore. Relaxation will be provided as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Stipendiary Trainees (Category-I): Candidates must have secured atleast 60% marks in aggregate in B.Sc. degree for the discipline of Phsyics. For the post of ST (Category-I) in Mehcanical and Electronics discipline, candidates should have done Diploma in concerned discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

Stipendiary Trainees (Category-II): Candidates must have secured atleast 60% marks in aggregate in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths as main subjects. Candidates should also possess ITI certificate in concerned discipline.

Stipendiary Trainees (Category-I): Total 30 posts are available.
(General-14, SC-5, ST-4, OBC-6 and HH*-1)

Stipendiary Trainees (Category-II): Total 27 posts are available.
(General-16, SC-2, ST-4, OBC-4 and HH*-1)

Pay Scale: Candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary.
