For the fashion technology and electrical & electronics branches, the institute is permitted to admit 60 students per year for electronics & communication 90 students per year, while for other two branches, the intake capacity of Sri Krishna Engineering College is 120 students per year. The duration of B.E course offered by the college is four years.

Eligibility requirement for seeking admission to the first year of the B.E course:

For getting into the first year of the Bachelor of Engineering course offered by the Sri Krishna Engineering College, candidates must have completed their HSE/plus 2/Pre-degree or CBSE with chemistry, physics and mathematics subjects or pass in HSC (vocational stream) with technology or engineering as vocational subjects or any other equivalent qualification as approved by the Board of Technical Education of the State of Tamil Nadu.

Lateral Entry:

The institute also offers later entry facility to the previously mentioned courses and for seeking admission under this scheme, candidates must have completed their three-year diploma course in appropriate disciplines from an institution approved by the Technical Education Board of the state of Tamil Nadu or any equivalent board.

NRI Quota Admission:

Sri Krishna Engineering College, admits NRI students as well and for seeking admission to the NRI quota seats, candidates must get their Provisional Eligibility Certificate from the Anna University. These candidates should produce documents like original copy of embassy certificate, copy of passport of financial supporter, employer letter of financial supporter, NRI bank account, etc…
