Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences shortly called as IHBAS came into existence in compliance with the directions issued by the Supreme court in response to a litigation of public interest in the year 1993. The institute acts as an autonomous body that is funded by the Government of NCT of Delhi and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare of Government of India.

Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Senior Resident and the details regarding the notification issued by the institution in this regard is given below:

Name of the Vacancy: Senior Resident

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 37, which is divided among the various departments of IHBAS as follows:

• Psychiatry– 13 (UR-05, OBC – 05, ST-01, SC-02)

• Neurology – 04 (SC-02, OBC – 01, ST-01)

• Radiology– 03 (OBC)

• Anesthesia - 05 (UR-04, OBC-01)

• Pathology – 01 (UR)

• Microbiology – 01 (UR)

• Neurochemistry – 02 (UR)

• Neurosurgery – 04 (OBC-01, UR-03)

• Emergency Lab – 03 (UR)

• Psychopharmacology – 01 (UR)

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Senior Resident will come under the pay brand of Rs.15600-39100+GP of Rs.6600.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: Candidates must have completed their post graduation diploma or degree in appropriate disciplines from a recognized university and they should also be registered with Medical Council of Delhi.

Age: The upper age limit to apply for the position of Senior Resident is 35 years.

Application fee:

Application fee of Rs.250 should be paid by the candidates in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Director, IHBAS, Delhi. This fee amount is applicable for OBC and UR candidates only and candidates coming under PH/EXS/ST/SC need not pay any fee towards application.
