The Chandtakanti Ramawati Devi Arya Mahila P.G. College came into existence in the year 1990 on the 1st of July and the college was established by the Chandrakanti Ramawati Devi Arya Mahila Sansthan. The institute aims at offering female education-languages, sahitya art, science & technology, etc…in various modes of approaches. The college is a self-financing institution located in the heart of the city of Gorakhpur at about three kilometers from the railway station of Gorakhpur. The college earned affiliation from the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University on the 23rd of February 1991.

Admissions to BA and MA Courses:

Chandtakanti Ramawati Devi Arya Mahila P.G. College offers admission to the candidates to the B.A and M.A courses based on the past merit secured. For BA course, selection will be based on the marks secured by the candidates in 10+2 and selection to M.A. course will be based on their performance in 10+2+3. Admissions will be made in accordance to the guidelines laid by the affiliating university from time to time.

Admission to B. Ed Course:

As far as Bachelor of Education course is concerned, admission of students will be based on the merit secured by them in the pre-B. Ed admission test conducted by the affiliating university according to the norms issued by the state government and the National Council for Teacher Education from time to time.

Marks required for admission:

For getting into the B.A course, candidates must have secured at least 40% of marks in the qualifying examination and for MA course, they must have secured at least 45% of marks in the B.A course from a recognized university. For B. Ed course candidates with at least 45% of marks in UG or PG degree obtained from a recognized university are eligible to apply to the Pre-B. Ed examination.

Reservation of Seats:

Reservation of seats for the various courses offered by the Chandtakanti Ramawati Devi Arya Mahila P.G. College will be based on the reservation policy of the Uttar Pradesh Government.
