Kurukshetra University (KU) conducts an admission test for admission to its Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHM&CT)  program. Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 and since then is one of the most reputed universities in India. There are 60 seats in BHM&CT program offered by the University. Of these 85% seats are reserved for bonafide Haryana candidates and rest 15% seats are open to all India candidates.

The candidates that are interested in undertaking admission in the course of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, they have to appear in this entrance Test. The high level of toughness is directly coupled with low level of seats offered. Candidates are admitted to BHM&CT program on the basis of an entrance test followed by an interview & presentation conducted by Kurukshetra University. Only the candidates who qualify the written test are called for interview and presentation. BHM&CT program of Kurukshetra University is under Department of Tourism & Hotel Management.

Eligibility criteria:

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as a subject. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply.

Pattern of Examination:

The paper will be of 2 hours duration consisting of 80 multiple choice questions in all from the following 4 sections:

Reasoning: 20 Questions
English: 20 Questions
General Knowledge: 20 Questions
Numerical Ability: 20 Questions

Final Selections will be based on the following weightages:

Entrance Test: 80 marks
Interview: 10 marks
Presentation: 10 marks
