To mark the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Indian independence, the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board was established by the Government of NCT of Delhi for the purpose of appointment of competent candidates to different government job positions in the union territory of Delhi.

Recruitment by DSSSB:

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has invited applications from eligible candidates for various positions under Group B and Group C position among which the details regarding some of the positions are given below:

Name of the Vacancies:

• Junior Stenographer (English) in Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (Post Code 53/11) – Group C Position

• Architectural Assistant in MCD (Post Code 43/11) – Group B Position

• Medical Social Worker in MCD (Post Code 42/11) – Group C Position

• Assistant Director in Community Services Department, MCD (Post Code 41/11) – Group B Position

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 22 divided among these posts as follows:

• Architectural Assistant in MCD – 05 (UR-01, OBC-03, SC-01 including PH (OH) – 01)

• Medical Social Worker in MCD – 04 (UR-02, OBC-01, SC-01)

• Assistant Director in Community Services Department, MCD – 06 (UR-03, OBC-02 and SC-01)

Period of Probation: Two years for all these positions

Pay Brand: Pay scale for each post code is given below:

• Post Code 53/11 - Rs.5200-20200 + GP 2400/-

• Post Code 43/11 - Rs.9300-34800 + GP 4200/-

• Post Code 42/11 - Rs.9300-34800 + GP 4200/-

• Post Code 41/11 - Rs.9300-34800 + GP 4600/-

Process of recruitment:

DSSSB will be conducting a combined Part I preliminary objective type examination for a duration of one year and Part II Main descriptive type examination for three hours at one go. Application fee:

The cost of application for this group B position is Rs.100 and for Group C positions Rs.50 and fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Secretary, DSSSB. Candidates can get the application from the office of DSSSB on all working days except Saturday and Sunday between 10:00am and 05.00pm.

Application in prescribed format as given in the website of DSSSB should be copied on a white sheet and duly filled application along with other documents and DD to the application receiving counter, Office of DSSSB, FC-18, Institutional area, Karkar Dooma, Delhi-110 092 and even application can be sent through post to the office of DSSSB before the 17th of November 2011.
