Northeast Frontier Railway shortly called as N F Railway is one of the 16 railway zones in the nation operating with its headquarters in a place called Maligaon in the city of Guwahati at the Indian state of Assam. It is responsible for rail operations in the whole northeast and parts of the Bihar and West Bengal.

Recruitment by North East Frontier Railway:

North East Frontier Railway is planning for recruitment of Para medical staff on contract basis against vacancies existing in para-medical category of Northeast Frontier Railway, Maligaon and its divisions through walk-in-interview. The vacancies are going to be filled on contract basis and here are the details regarding the notification issued in this regard:

Name of the Vacancy: Health & Malaria Inspector – III

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 17, which is divided among the different divisions of North East Frontier Railway as follows:

Lumding Division – 05 (ST-01, OBC-01, UR-03)

Rangiya Division – 03 (SC-01, UR-02)

Katihar Division – 02 (UR)

Tinsukia Division – 04 (ST-01, OBC – 02, UR-01)

Head Quarter – 03 (UR)

Remuneration: Being a contracted position, candidates appointed for the position of Health & Malaria Inspector – III will be getting a monthly remuneration of Rs.17145/-

Eligibility requirements:

Educational Qualification: To apply for the position of Health & Malaria Inspector – III, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry plus one-year diploma in health or sanitary inspector course. Or candidates with one-year National Trade Certificate in Health Sanitary Inspector course awarded by the National Council for Vocational Training of Ministry of Labour and Employment of Indian Government are also eligible to apply.

Age: For the position of Health and Malaria Inspector – III, candidates must be between the age group of 18 and 33 years as on the 1st of January 2011. Upper age relaxation of five years and three years is applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates respectively.

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be based on the performance of candidates in the walk-in-interview to be held at the following places, time and dates:

Lumding Division – On 13th of December 2011 at 10.00 hrs on CMS Office Lumding Railway Hospital

Rangiya Division – On 14th of December 2011 at 10.00 hrs on CMS Office Rangiya Railway Hospital

Katihar Division – On 17th of December 2011 at 10.00 hrs on CMS Office Katihar Railway Hospital

Tinsukia Division – On 14th of December 2011 at 10.00 hrs on CMS Office Dibraugarh Railway Hospital

Head Quarter – On 14th of December 2011 at 10.00 hrs on MD’s Office Central Hospital, Maligaon, Guwahati - 11
