Abbreviated as BMRCL, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited is a joint venture between the Karnataka Government and the Indian Government. It is a Special Purpose Vehicle entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the Metro Rail Project in the city of Bangalore.

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation has invited applications from experience and qualified engineering for a walk-in-interview for appointment on contract/deputation.

Name of the Position: Deputy Chief Engineer, Executive Engineer, Security Officer, Security Supervisors, Executive Assistant, Receptionist

Number of Vacancies: Total number of Vacancies is 13, which is divided as follows among the different positions mentioned above:

• Deputy Chief Engineer – 01

• Executive Engineer - 02

• Security Officer - 01

• Security Supervisors - 03

• Executive Assistant – 05

o Information Technology – 02

o Systems – 03

• Receptionist - 01

Pay Scale: In the case of candidates appointed on deputation basis, they will get a pay scale as drawn in the parent department and other allowances as admissible under BRMCL. In the case of candidates appointed for the position on contract basis, the appropriate remunerations are as follows:

• Deputy Chief Engineer – Rs.80000

• Executive Engineer – Rs.50000

• Security Officer – Rs.30000

• Security Supervisors – Rs.22000

• Executive Assistant – Rs.25000

• Receptionist – Rs.18000

Period of Contract: The period of contract is three years minimum, which can be extended on mutually agreed conditions.

Age: The maximum age limit requirement for each positions as on the 1st of October 2011 are given below:
