Computer Faculty, Punjab Information and Communication Technology Education Society
Punjab Communication and Information Technology Education Society was established under the Government of India. the major objective behind the establishment of the society was to provide a educational society in the Punjab state in the field Information Technology. Punjab Communication and Information Technology Education Society is mainly responsible for the providing education in the field of Information Technology in the state of Punjab.
Job Profile:
Punjab Information and Communication Technology Education Society is looking forward to recruit eligible Indian Citizens on the vacant posts of Computer Faculty. Candidates will be recruited purely on contrcatual basis for a period of minimum 1 year. However, the period of contract may be renewed on the basis of performance of candidates. Interested candidates should be willing to serve anywhere in Punjab state. Number of posts may vary upon the actual requirement.
Eligibility:
The minimum age limit set for the post is 18 years as on 31 December 2011.
The maximum age limit set for the post is 37 years as on 31 December 2011.
Reserved categories candidates will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules of Government of Punjab. Relaxation of 5 years will be provided to the candidates belonging to SC/BC categories. Physically Handicapped candidates will get relaxation of minimum 10 years.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess 3 years Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized institute. Those candidates, who have done BCA or B.Sc. or BIT or B-Level of DOEACC or BCAM, BMIT, AMIE or MCA or M.Sc. in the concerned disciplines from a recognized institute or university, are also eligible to apply for the specified post in Punjab Information and Communication Technology Education Society. Candidates should have passed Punjabi in Matriculation or higher examination. Candidates are also required to be a resident of state of Punjab.
No. of posts: Total 700 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated salary of Rs. 10000 per month. Candidates will be given the consoldidated salary of Rs. 30000 after becoming regular on the specified positions.
Application Fee:
Application fee for General and OBC candidates: Rs. 250 only.
Application fee for SC candidates: Rs. 125 only.
Candidates are required to be pay the prescribed amount of application fee for applying for the post of Computer Faculty. The payment of application fee must be done in the form of a registration slip challan form. The amount of application fee must be deposited in cash in Axis Bank Account No. 911020049615714.
Selection Process:
Selection of canddiates will be made on the basis of the merit list prepared. Candidates will have to appear in Written Computer Eligibility Test conducted by PICTES.
How to apply: Candidates should apply online from 5 December 2011 to 31 December 2011. The registration link for applying online is available at the official website of CDAC Mohali. Candidates must take a printout of the application form and keep it to produce at the time of Written test.
