The duration of M. Ch in Hepato Pancreato Biliary Surgery is three years and the institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences is approved with an intake capacity of two students per year for this course.

Eligibility requirement for admission:

For getting into the M. Ch in Hepato Pancreato Biliary Surgery course, candidates must have completed their MS in General Surgery from an Indian university or Diplomat of National Board in General Surgery or any other examination as recognized by the institute in this regard. Candidates must have completed MS exam before the date of entrance examination failing which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the entrance examination for admission to the M. Ch in Hepato Pancreato Biliary Surgery. Mode of selection:

70 marks for objective type entrance test for merit and grading aptitude and the test will extend to a duration of 90 minutes with 100 multiple choice question

Stipend:

Selected candidates will be offered with monthly stipend for a period of 36 months and stay in hostel is compulsory for candidates of M. Ch course.
