Anna University conducts every year materials science papers exam for the candidates pursuing the B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering course. Paper pattern:

The Anna University BE in ECE 2nd sem- Materials Science Papers holds two groups A and B. All the questions are categorized under these two groups. The first one contains short answer type questions whereas the long and descriptive type questions basically deals with second group. There are maximum of ten questions in first group. Each question is of two marks. The second one contains five compulsory questions, each question carries 16 marks.

The questions that are continuously asked in every examination are diffusion processes of industries, phase equilibrium, high performing ceramics, polymer constitution etc. There are also few questions that are not asked repeatedly but considered as important ones are polymer molecules, role of matrix materials etc.
