Indore Christian College is one of the oldest educational institutions in Indore and the college came into existence in the year 1887. Initially, the college was affiliated to the Calcutta University and at present the college offers education with affiliation from the Devi Ahilya University. Government of Madhya Pradesh has recognized the college as a Christian Minority Institution under Article 30 (1) of the Indian Constitution. The college has also earned approval from the Bar Council of India for offering legal education in addition to several other courses offered.

Course duration:

The Bachelor of Arts, Commerce and Bachelor of Law courses extends to a period of three years, while the other courses extends to a period of two years.

Affiliation history of the college:

When Indore Christian College came into existence in the year 1887, it began its journey with affiliation from the Calcutta University. In the year 1904, the affiliation from the Calcutta University was ceased and the college became affiliated to the Allahabad University. Then again in the year 1927, the college was brought under the affiliation of Agra University and then under Vikram University and finally, the college came under the jurisdiction of Devi Ahilya University and till date Indore Christian College is offering education with affiliation from the Devi Ahilya University.

Aims and objectives of Indore Christian College:

The main aim of Indore Christian College is to make a contribution to the nation by developing good citizenship with Christ-like character and able leadership through sound higher education on the basis of principles of Christianity and pervaded by Christian spirit.

Activities at ICC:

The Indore Christian College encourages its students to participate in several extra-curricular activities in such a way that they can develop their extracurricular skills other than educational competence.
