The Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers conducts Communication Skills and Technical Writing Papers examination for the aspirants for the three year diploma course.

Qualification required for the exam:

Candidates must need to have the passing certificate of matriculation or its equivalent examination from a renowned or government authorized board or university. One must have to cross the age of 14 years for appearing in this entrance exam. The candidates pursuing in the higher secondary course can also appear for this DIPIETE-ET Communication Skills and Technical Writing exam.

Scores and negative markings:

There are no negative markings at all on any of the questions at all because there are different format of questions asked in the examination. The scores that are allotted for an individual question are equal.

Mode of exam:

The IETE DIPIETE Communication Skills and Technical Writing Paper is basically an offline mode exam and it requires pen/pencil to answer the questions. You will get answer sheets along with the question paper where you have to write all the answers.

Format of the exam:

Paper pattern:

The pattern followed is very similar to other papers under DIPIETE-ET exam. 9 questions are set in this paper and 1st question happen to be compulsory and holds 20 marks.
