High Court of Madhya Pradesh is operating from the city of Jabalpur and it was established in the year 1936. The court came into existence as the Nagpur High Court in the year 1936 on the 2nd of January and it was shifted to Jabalpur on the 1st of November 1956. The present sanctioned strength of the court is 42 judges.

Recruitment by High Court of Madhya Pradesh:

High Court of Madhya Pradesh has invited applications from eligible candidates for the position of Court Manager purely on contract basis for high court and district courts of Madhya Pradesh and here are the details regarding the notification issued by the court in this respect:

Name of the Vacancy: Court Manager

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 54, which is divided among the different category of candidates as given below:

• UR – 27 (inclusive of 1 vacancy for PH)

• OBC – 08 (inclusive of 1 vacancy for PH)

• SC – 09 (inclusive of 1 vacancy for PH)

• ST – 10

Salary: Since the position is going to be filled up on contract basis, candidates will be getting a consolidated pay of Rs.50000 per month.

Period of contract: The contract shall be initially for a period of one year, which might be renewed further after review of the performance of candidates.

Eligibility requirements:

Education and experience: Candidates must have completed their MBA degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission and should also possess managerial working experience of one year from an established organization. Preference will be given to candidates with UG degree in B. Tech/B.E/Law.

Age: Upper age limit to apply for the position of court manager as on the 1st of January 2012 is 35 years.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates for the position of court manager shall be made based on the performance of candidates in written test, which comprises of preliminary examination and main examination. Candidates getting through the preliminary examination, which is planned to be held on 23rd of March 2012 shall only be called for main examination, which is to be held on 6th of May 2012. Candidates clearing the main examination will be invited for interview as the final stage of selection process. Application fee:

Application fee shall be Rs.500 for candidates belonging to UR and OBC category and Rs.250 for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category and this fee along with portal charge of Rs.50 shall be paid by candidates through MP Online.
