Job Profile:

Steel Authority of India Limited is running a special recruitment drive for Persons with Disabilities. Candidates are invited to apply for the vacant positions of Attendant cum Junior Staff Assistant (Trainee) and Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) in Steel Authority of India Limited- Bhilai Steel Plant.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates must strictly follow the age criteria set for the desired post before applying for it in Steel Authority of India Limited. Uneligible candidates are not required to apply for any of the specified posts as their applications will not be recieved or accepted by the authority.

The minimum age limit set for both the posts is 18 years as on 1 January 2012.
The maximum age limit set for both the posts is 38 years as on 1 January 2012.

Educational Qualification:

Attendant cum Junior Staff Assistant: Candidates are required to have passed HSC or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates must have working knowledge of Computer Applications. However, preference will be given to the candidates with Graduation degree.

Attendant cum Technician: Matriculation from a recognized board alongwith ITI certificate in relevant trade (i.e. Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Mason, Turner, Diesel Mechanica and Motor vehicle Mechanic). Preference will be given to the candidates, who have completed their Apprenticeship Training.

No. of posts: Total 15 posts are available.

Attendant cum Junior Staff Assistant: Only 5 posts are available. (Visually Handicapped (Low Vision)-5)
Attendant cum Technician: only 10 posts are available. (Orthopaedically Handicapped-5 and hearing Handciapped-5)

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated salary of Rs. 8630-12080 per month.

Application Fee:

An application fee in the form of a Account Payee Demand Draft is need to be paid by the candidates. The crossed non refundable A/C payee demand draft should be drawn in favour of Steel Authority of India Limited, Bhilai Steel Plant. The demand draft should be drawn on any Nationalized Bank only payable at Bhilai with Branch Code No. The amount of application fee which is need to be paid by the candidates is Rs. 50 only.

How to apply: Applications should be accompanied with attested copies of certificates and passport size photograph affixed on application form. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected by the authority.
