National Institute of Technology, Raipur, came into existence in the year 1956 and it is a technical institution funded by Government of India. Initially, the institute was formed as Government college of Mining & Metallurgy and was offering courses under these two disciplines of engineering only. Now, the institution is offering Bachelor of Technology in different branches of engineering and Bachelor of Architecture courses are the UG level.

The institute is one among the 20 National Institute of Technologies in India, which has earned the status of Institute of National Importance from the Government of India.

Name of the positions: Technical Assistant, Laboratory Attendant

Number of Vacancies: Totally 35, which is divided as 15 for Technical Assistants and 20 for Laboratory Attendant.

Technical Assistant: For the position of Technical Assistant, candidates must be diploma holders in engineering or Bachelor’s degree holders in science stream in appropriate branch of engineering/science.

Laboratory Attendant: Candidates must fulfill any of the following educational conditions for the position of Laboratory Attendant:

• Matriculation with not less than 50% of marks + ITI certificate with two-year programme in appropriate field

• Higher secondary + ITI course with one-year duration in appropriate field

• Bachelor of Science in appropriate branch

• Diploma in Engineering in appropriate branch
