Graduates can apply for Administrative Officer (Generalist) post in National Insurance Company Limited. Selection is done on the basis of a written test that would have questions on General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, etc. Preparation for the exam can be made with the help of reference books, e-books, etc.
Exam Pattern for Administrative Officer (Generalist) in NIC
Written test comprises of both objective and descriptive model questions. There will be two sections for the question paper, Section I and Section II. First section comprises of questions from areas such as
- Computer Knowledge
- General Awareness
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability
English language section includes questions on comprehension and précis. This descriptive section includes essay type questions also. Second section covers questions on general aptitude. General awareness, Data Sufficiency, Data Interpretation, etc are the topics covered under the section. General aptitude section also includes questions to evaluate the information analysis ability of the candidate. Total marks allotted for the test is 200, 120 marks for section I and 80 marks for section II. Time allotted for the completion of the test is 180 minutes.
