Admission Procedure

Pass in 10 +2 with 40% marks is the general eligibility required for most of the under graduate courses. Those who possess the qualification in science stream are eligible to apply for B.Sc courses. In case of B.Sc Economics course, candidates who have studied mathematics as a subject in XII class will be considered. Admissions to the courses are offered purely on the basis of merit.

B.Sc degree in the concerned stream/equivalent is the basic eligibility for M.Sc courses. The degree must be obtained with minimum 50% marks. Bachelor degree in any stream with 50% marks is required for admission to M.A courses. Candidates seeking admission to M.A Geography course should have completed their bachelor degree in Geography or related subject. Graduation with 45% marks is enough to apply for master degree course in tourism. B.Com/BBA holders with 50% marks can apply for M.Com course. Admissions are offered on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam.

Eligibility criteria for B.Sc/M.Sc courses in Computer Science/Information technology are much similar to that of other B.Sc/M.Sc courses. But selection of eligible candidates is done on the basis of entrance test/interview. Admission to diploma/PG diploma courses is also offered on the basis of written test/interview. Graduates with 45% marks can apply for PG diploma courses where as 10th/12th pass candidates can apply for diploma courses.
