B.Tech in SVIT- Admission Process and Placement Details
Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology offers Bachelors’ degree in various disciplines such as Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Higher Secondary Education with 50% marks is the minimum eligibility required. Admission to the course is carried out on the basis of State level entrance exam, namely Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). The Placement cell of the institute conducts Recruitment drive along with firms such as TCS, IBM, Infosys and Indian Army.

Eligibility Criterion for Admission
Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary Education from a recognized board of studies are eligible to apply for B.Tech Programmes. They should have studied subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The minimum marks required for qualification is 50%. Admission to the courses is carried out on the basis of scores obtained in Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
Exam pattern of EAMCET
There will be a total of one hundred and sixty questions in this exam. Questions will be asked in objective type multiple choice format. Of these, 80 questions will be asked from Mathematics and remaining 80 questions will be asked from Physics and Chemistry. Questions can be asked in various formats such as Match the Following, Choose correct Statement, Full Forms and Multiple Correct questions. Maximum marks allotted for the entire test is 160. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. Time duration allotted for EAMCET entrance exam is three hours. 50% marks in HSC is the minimum eligibility for this exam. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe require 40% marks so as to be eligible.
Placement Details of Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology
