Eligibility Criterion
Candidates seeking admission to three year Post Graduate diploma programs in subjects such as Direction, Cinematography and Editing are required to complete graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. There is no minimum mark required for qualification. Those who are seeking admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Sound Recording and Sound Design should have studied Physics in Higher Secondary course or in Graduation.
Candidates who have completed graduation in any of the following subjects are eligible to seek admission to Two Year Post Graduate Diploma in Art Direction and Production Design.

Admission Process
Admission to the courses is carried out on the basis of common entrance exam conducted by the institute. Foreign and candidates who are belonging to Non residential Indian are exempted from common entrance exam. There will be questions to evaluate candidates’ aptitude skills. There will be sectional cut off on the examination. Those who have cleared the entrance examination will be short listed for personal interview. Final selection is based on the composite scores obtained in entrance exam as well as personal interview.
Application Procedure
Eligible candidates who wish to apply for entrance examination are required to apply in the prescribed application format. Application cum information form can be obtained by sending a request along with application fee of Rs. 2150/-. Those from reserved categories and BPL card holders are required to pay Rs. 650/-. Fee payment can be done by taking a Demand Draft from any nationalized bank in favor of Accounts Officer, Film and Television Institute of India, payable at Pune. Fully filled in application form along with supporting documents should be sent to “Controller of examinations, Film & Television Institute of India, Law College Road, Pune - 411 004”.
