Recruitment of Clerks and Probationary Officers in Federal Bank

Federal Bank has invited application for the post of Probationary Officer and Clerks. Those who have cleared common written examination conducted by IBPS are only eligible to apply. Selection procedure will be on the basis of Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Eligibility Criterion for Clerks

Candidates who have completed graduation in any subject from a recognized University are eligible to apply for this post. They are required to secure a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in qualifying examination. In addition to this, at least 50% marks should be secured for each subject. Candidates should have qualified the Common Written Examination for clerical cadre conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. They are required to possess a valid score card issued by IBPS. Those who are more than 24 years of age at the time of application are not eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to reserved categories can avail relaxation in upper age limit as per the norms issued by Government of India.

Eligibility Criterion for Probationary Officer
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University is the minimum educational qualification required. Graduation should be obtained after completing Higher Secondary course. Those who have completed graduation in full time regular class are only eligible. They should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in qualifying examination. Apart from this, candidates should have good working knowledge of computer. Upper age limit is 26 years at the time of application. Reserved category candidates can seek relaxation in upper age limit up to 5 years.

Selection Procedure

Recruitment to the post of Probationary clerks as well as probationary officer is based on the performance in group discussion and personal interview conducted by the organization. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview process. Final selection will be based on the composite marks obtained in qualifying exam, common written exam and personal interview. Selected candidates will be under probation for a period of 6 months to 2 years.

Application Procedure and Fee

Those who wish to apply for the clerical post/ Probationary officer are required to pay Rs. 200/- as application fee. Application fee for SC/ST candidates amounts to Rs. 50/-. Fee payment can be done by using the payment challan, which can be downloaded from the bank’s website. Apart from this, candidates can make payment through NEFT. Those who have remitted application fee are required to apply online from the official website of the bank. No other way of application is accepted. Candidates are required to have a valid email id. Those who have successfully submitted the application will receive a confirmation message via email. They are advised to keep the details of application and fee payment for future reference.
