Cochin Shipyard Limited has invited applications for supervisory positions in grades of Accountant and Assistant Engineer (Painting). Commerce graduates can apply for the position of Accountant where as diploma holders/chemistry graduates can apply for the position of Assistant Engineer (Painting). Eligibility Criteria for Supervisory Posts in Cochin Shipyard Limited -2013

Cochin Shipyard Limited has notified supervisory positions in grades of Accountant and Assistant Engineer (Painting). For the position of Accountant, candidates with bachelor’s/master’s degree in commerce will be considered. They must have obtained the qualification with a minimum of 60% marks and with 7 years of professional experience. Work experience must be obtained in the field of Finance/Accounting from government departments or public sector undertakings.

Those having three year diploma in engineering or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry can apply for the job profile of Assistant Engineer (Painting). Such candidates must have obtained the qualification with a minimum of 60% marks and with NACE or FROSIO level-I Inspector qualification. Moreover, eligible candidates must have completed 7 years professional experience in painting, preferably from a Shipyard/Naval Dockyard or Heavy Engineering Company

Age of the applicant must be less than 35 years. Relaxation in upper age limit is offered for reserved category candidates like OBC (3 years) and SC/ST (5 years).

Selection Procedure for Supervisory Posts in Cochin Shipyard Limited -2013

Selection process includes written test and interview for 100 marks. In written test, there will be descriptive and objective type questions for 80 marks. Questions for the exam will be from the topics mentioned below.

• Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning

Those who clear the written exam can attend interview section, carrying 20 marks.

Application fee for participating in the recruitment process is Rs. 100/-.
