Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) offers both part time and full time MBA programs. Graduates with 60% marks are eligible for full time MBA course, provided they have a valid CAT/XAT score card. On the other hand, graduates with 50% marks with 2 years work experience can seek admission for part time MBA. It is essential to attend either the written examination conducted by the institute or else a valid MAT score to get selection.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA in LIBA

To apply for full time MBA course, it is essential for candidates to complete graduation in any subject from a recognized university. Aspirants should score a minimum of 60% marks in graduation. Final year graduates can also apply for the same provided they are able to submit the educational documents at the time of admission.

For part time MBA admission, applicants need to be graduates in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks. It is compulsory for candidates to have a full time job or work experience in any of the private or government firm for at least 2 years. They should be currently working at the time of submitting applications for part time MBA program in LIBA.

Selection procedure for MBA in LIBA

Selection procedure for both full time and part time MBA admission require candidates to attend a written examination, organized by LIBA. For full time MBA program, candidates also are selected depending on their score in either XAT (conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur) or CAT (organized by IIMs). On the other hand, for part time MBA admission, candidates can go with MAT organized by AIMA.  For both the types of MBA admission, candidates are called for GD and Interview depending upon their score in any of the specified selection tests.

Application Procedure for MBA in LIBA

In order to apply for full time MBA program, candidates need to deposit an application fee of Rs. 1250/- either as Demand Draft or cash and it must be payable at LIBA, Chennai. It is essential register via LIBA registration link to receive an ID and pass word.

Candidates can login with this ID and pass word and submit the filled in application form along with scanned photograph. They should take a copy of the payment advice form and should mention DD amount and other details on the reverse side of the form. This form along with LIBA ID and CAT/XAT score should be sent to the specific address specified.

For Part time MBA admission, candidates can obtain the application form from the Admissions Office, LIBA only after successfully paying the application fee either as DD or as cash on behalf of LIBA, Chennai. It is compulsory for candidates to complete application forms with all necessary details and send it to the concerned address before the last date specified. The institute will inform the selected candidates via post and also the selected candidates list will be put up in the institute’s notice board as well.
