Although MBA and Integrated MBA are management programs in Business Administration, both are poles apart. Master of Business Administration is a postgraduate degree program that deals with the study of the hypothesis and techniques involved in administering the business as a whole. However, Integrated MBA is a long-term course that is concerned with the overall study of business starting from the foundations in business to top notch duties of a manager within an organization. It can be defined to as the integration of Engineering or business programs along with the business administration subjects.

Aspirants can take Business or Engineering Courses as optional courses while pursuing the Integrated MBA program. They must pursue the program from a recognized business school. Key differentiators between MBA and Integrated MBA course

  • Graduates in any streams can pursue the MBA program whereas intermediates can study the Integrated MBA program.
  • The duration of the MBA course is 2 – 2 ½ years whereas the Integrated MBA program lasts for a period of 5 years.

While graduates have to study the MBA program as a separate course so as to become a postgraduate, intermediates can directly turn out to be postgraduate by pursuing the Integrated MBA program.
