B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam in BHU – Eligibility, Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Candidates must complete 12th class with subjects like Biology, Chemistry and Physics to attend B.Sc Nursing entrance exam organized by Banaras Hindu University. It is compulsory for candidates to score at least 50% marks in HSC (40% marks for reserved group candidates) to apply. The entrance exam comprises objective model questions of 100 numbers from the three main subject areas - Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Only those candidates who are able to score 50% cut off marks in this entrance exam will be selected for counseling process.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam in BHU
Following are the main eligibility criteria to apply for B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam in BHU –
- It is compulsory for candidate to be an Indian National.
- Candidates must complete 12th class in science stream with Physics, chemistry and Biology as subjects. It is essential to obtain at least 50% marks in HSC (40% marks for reserved categories) to attend the test. Those who are currently studying final year of intermediate level are also eligible to apply, provided they need to submit original 12th class pass certificates along with mark sheets at the time of admission.
- It is compulsory for candidates to be medically fit while applying for this course.
- The age of candidate must be between 17-25 years.
Exam Pattern for B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam in BHU
The entrance exam comprise of a total of 100 objective model questions, which needs to be completed within the allowed time limit of 2 hours. The syllabus of the written exam include 3 main sections –

The total marks allotted for this entrance exam is 400 marks. It is compulsory for candidates to score at least 50% marks to pass the entrance exam. Those who pass the written exam need to attend the counseling process for admission. An online application procedure is followed to apply for this entrance exam.
