FCI ‘Management Trainee’ Recruitment 2013 — Eligibility and Selection Procedure
Food Corporation of India (FCI) has invited applications for the profiles of Management Trainee (Depot), Management Trainee (Technical), and Management Trainee (Mechanical Engineering). Bachelor degree holders from any of the recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks are the qualification required for Management Trainee (General/Depot/Movement). B.Tech/B.E holders in civil engineering can apply for the profile of Management Trainee (Civil Engineering). Selection of suitable candidates is made through written test, Group Discussion, and interview.

Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee (General/Depot/Movement)
Bachelor degree from any of the recognized University is the basic qualification required. Such candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks. For SC/ST/ PH candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 55%. Those holding CA/ICWA/CS qualification are also eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee (Accounts)
Those having associate membership with ICAI or ICSI or ICWAI can join as Management Trainee (Accounts). Candidates who have studied B.Com at graduation and MBA (Finance) at PG level are also eligible. MBA degree can be obtained as a regular course or distance education program.
Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee (Technical)
B.Sc (Agriculture) is the required qualification for Management Trainee (Technical). Engineering degree holders in any of the following streams can also apply.

- Bio Technology
- Food Science
- Food Science and Technology
Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee (Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering)
Engineering degree in the concerned stream from any of the recognized University is the required qualification.
Selection Procedure for Management Trainee in FCI
Selection of suitable candidates is made through written test, Group Discussion, and interview. There are two papers for the written test, Paper I and Paper II. Those applying for Management Trainee (General/Depot/Movement) should attend Paper I only. Others must attend Paper I and Paper II. Duration for each of the papers is 90 minutes. Questions from Paper I is based on the following topics.

- General Awareness
- Management
- Reasoning
There will be 120 questions for Paper II. For Management Trainee (Accounts), questions are asked on general accounting and finance. Questions based on the following topics are asked for Management Trainee (Technical).
- Agricultural Engineering
- Bio Technology
- Food Science
- Food Science and Technology
For Management Trainee position in engineering, questions are asked from the concerned subject area of engineering. Candidates having qualified written test are short listed for GD and interview in the successive order
