M.A in Philosophy is one of the high demanding courses all over the Globe. Introduction of the term, ‘philosophy’ had been first ascribed by the Greek thinker, Pythagoras.

This course deals with the study of general and fundamental problems regarding matters such as knowledge, existence, values, reasoning, mind, etc. Philosophy is distinguished from other ways of addressing these questions (such as mysticism or various questions on mythology) by its general systematic approach and its various views on reasoned arguments.

Eligibility:

Candidates applying for M.A in Philosophy should hold a pass certificate of 10 and 10+2 from any recognized board of the country with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks which may differ from institution to institution. Students should also complete their bachelor’s degree under any registered University of the country. Many institutions conducts entrance exam for the admission of the student.

Course Outlook:

M.A in Philosophy is a 2 year course. The students in the 1st years go through one yearly exam which qualifies them to the next year. Then the final year exam is held in the 2nd year, the ultimate one after which they get their degree. After the completion of the every year of this course, again the students need to register their name for the next year under the same University.
