Nirma University-Institute of Management (NU-IM) offers admission to interested candidates in it stow year based MBA program. The course has been duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The Institute of Management was established in the year 1996 as the Nirma Institute of Management. The Institute is recognized to be amongst the most reputed management based Institute in the nation. The Institute is situated on the outer fringes of the Ahmedabad City.

Candidates are shortlisted for this program on the basis of their CAT scores. Therefore for admission in MBA program of NUIM candidates have to appear for CAT. The candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT scores have to appear in a Personal Interview and General Discussion for final selection process. NUIM has 120 seats for its MBA program.

Eligibility criteria:

A candidate should have a 3 years bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized institute with atleast 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.

Availability of Application forms:

The forms for NUIM are expected to be available by October in the institute and also from different centres of IMS Learning Resources, TIME or from designated branches of AXIS Bank.The form can also be obtained by post from NUIM by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form. Candidates can also download the form online through the website www.imnu.ac.in.

Group Discussion/Personal Interview: February/March 2011

Final Selection: March/April, 2011

Selection process:

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT scores. The shortlisted candidates are then called for Personal Interview and General Discussion after which the final selections are made. For final selection following weightages are allotted: Written Test: 70%; Personal Interview : 20% & Group Discussion : 10%. Candidates will also get additional weightage for work experience.
