Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) was established in the year 1984 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The major objective behind the establishment of the company was to produce Newsprint and Printing & Writing Paper using ‘bagasse’ ( which is a sugarcane residue ) as primary raw material. Over the years the company has emerged as the largest bagasse based paper mill in the world. Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited has became a renowned name in the field of Paper Manufacturing.

Job Profile:

1. Recruitment of Manager (Purchase):
No. of posts: 1 post only.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have degree in B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
Age Limit: Candidates should have atleast 38 years of age as on 1 January 2010.
Pay Scale: Rs. 21500-600-27500 will be paid as salary to the candidates.

2. Recruitment of Deputy Manager (Purchase):
No. of posts: 1 post only.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have degree in B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
Age Limit: Candidates should have atleast 35 years of age as on 1 January 2010.
Pay Scale: Rs. 18000-500-23000 will be paid as salary to the candidates.

3. Recruitment of Deputy Manager (Stores):
No. of posts: 1 post only.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have degree in B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
Age Limit: Candidates should have atleast 35 years of age as on 1 January 2010.
Pay Scale: Rs. 18000-500-23000 will be paid as salary to the candidates.

4. Recruitment of Assistant Field Officer:
No. of posts: 2 posts only.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have degree in M.Sc. in Agriculture/Forestry.
Age Limit: Candidates should have atleast 35 years of age as on 1 January 2010.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10500-250-13000 will be paid as salary to the candidates.
