Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) was established in the year 1984 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The company indirectly comes nunder the Government of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the company was to have a company which can produce Newsprint and Printing & Writing Paper using ‘bagasse’ ( which is a sugarcane residue ) as primary raw material. Over the years the company has emerged as the largest bagasse based paper mill in the world and not only in the country.
Job Profile:
Candidates are invited to apply on the following vacant positions of Assistant Shift Engineer (Chemical), Graduate Engineer Trainee (Chemical), Assistant Plant Engineer (Electrical) and Assistant Officer (Stores) in Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited.
1. Recruitment of Assistant Shift Engineer (Chemical):
No. of posts: 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 30 years as on 1 March 2011.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 10500-250-13000 per month.
2. Recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainee (Chemical):
No. of posts: 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 25 years as on 1 March 2011.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 14400-16200 per month.
3. Recruitment of Assistant Plant Engineer (Electrical):
No. of posts: 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 1 March 2011.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech in Electronics Engineering with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 10500-250-13000 per month.
4. Recruitment of Assistant Officer (Stores):
No. of posts: 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 1 March 2011.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 10500-250-13000 per month.
Selection Process:
A personal interview test is need to be faced by the interested candidates, for getting selected on the above specified positions in Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited.
