Admission to Bachelor of Education in Delhi University is carried out on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the University. Graduation / Post graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks is the educational qualification requirement. Candidates can expect objective type question in the entrance exam. Final selection will be based on the merit list in entrance exam and submission of relevant documents. 
Eligibility Criterion for Bachelor of Education in Delhi University

Candidates who have completed graduation in any subjects with a minimum of 55% mark in aggregate from a recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Those who have completed Post Graduation in any discipline are also eligible to apply. Such candidates are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in qualifying examination. Those who are appearing in the final year for studies can also apply for this course. Such candidates are required to submit the copies of mark sheets fulfilling the required eligibility criterion.

Selection Procedure for Bachelor of Education in Delhi University

Admission to the course is carried out on the basis of entrance exam carried out by the University. Questions will be asked from the topics based on the core subject in which candidates have completed their Graduation/ Post Graduation.

Exam Pattern of Entrance Exam

There will be multiple choice objective type questions in the entrance examination. Candidates can apply for a maximum of one hundred and fifty questions. Each question carries one mark. Of these, 80 questions will be asked from Subject I and II, 50 questions will be asked from Reasoning and General Awareness and remaining 20 questions will be asked from Language comprehension. Maximum time allotted for attending all questions is three hours. Medium of instructions will be in English language. Candidates are required to secure the sectional cut off of a minimum of 16 marks for each section so as to clear the examination.  There will be no negative marking in this examination.

Final selection will be based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam. If there is a tie in scores, candidate who is older in age will be given preference. The University will short list the candidates who get selection. Those who get selection are required to submit all relevant documents for admission.

Application Procedure

Application form cum prospectus can be obtained from selected branches of State Bank of India. In addition to this candidates can request for application form by post. Fully filled in applications should be sent to the University within stipulated time. Those who have successfully submitted the application will receive call letter for entrance examination.
