Symbiosis Law School offers Advanced Diploma in Taxation Law as a one year program. The course helps students to have an insight on labor welfare as well as taxation laws. Tax Laws related to Central Excise, Customs, Service Tax, etc are covered under the course. The main objective of the course is to develop in depth knowledge in tax laws and to develop leadership skills in welfare work. After completion of the course one can find opportunities with Income Tax Department of India, Service Tax Department, etc.

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Procedure for Advanced Diploma in Taxation Law

Graduation/Pass in XII class is the qualification required to pursue this course. Candidates who have completed 12th class should be a student of integrated law program from Pune University or any other recognized University. Graduates who have completed the course in any stream are also eligible to apply. Selection of candidates to this course is done on first come first serve basis.

Application forms can be collected from the office of Symbiosis Law School. Application form fee amounts to Rs. 300/-. The application must be filled up with necessary details and must be submitted to the institution before closing date.

Assessment Method for Advanced Diploma in Taxation Law

Student’s performance will be assessed on the basis of examinations conducted at the end of the year. There will be 5 papers for external exam, each carrying 100 marks. Passing marks for each of these papers is 50. Awarding of diploma at the end of the academic year is done on the basis of candidate’s performance in annual examination.

Fee Details for Advanced Diploma in Taxation Law

Fee structure for the course differs for nationals and international students. Indian Student must pay a total fee amount of Rs.6000/- where as foreign student needs to pay $245/-.
