Seeing the widely spread fever for MBA, many institutes have joined the league of offering this course to the aspiring candidates. The same goes with the Ansal Institute of technology. Ansal Institute of Technology also conducts a separate admission test for its MBA courses. Though the college is famous for offering world class courses in the field of technology, and computers, its management courses are also getting popular widely. The institute came in to existence in the year 2000, and since then it is building up career of many. It exists as an autonomous body since 2006.

Infrastructure:

The college is spread over an area of 15 acres. The college has tie-ups with leading industries and corporate houses of the country. The college provides the students with all sorts of utilities required to excel in the management arena.

The placement opportunities of the institutes are also taken great care of. The students are placed in world class industries at high designations with lucrative pay offers. The management students have also been placed in some renowned industries of India as well as abroad after successfully completing their management course from this college.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates applying for the management course in this college are selected on the basis of the scores they obtain in the CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT/JCCAT or other valid examination. These are the examinations that are taken in to account while admitting the students.

Candidates who have not appeared in any of these examinations have to undergo the entrance exams conducted by the AIT which also recruits the students on the basis of the scores they get in this examination.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from any of the recognized institute with a minimum of 50% marks or its equal CGPA in Graduation. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. However these candidates have to specifically submit a duplicate copy of the Certificate of Merit to the concerned authority within a limited period of time.

Availability of Application forms:

The forms will be available directly from AIT campus. Candidates can also download the form online through the website www.aitgurgaon.org. Candidates can avail the application form cum prospectus from the Institute itself either by paying cash or through Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Registrar of the Institute.

Important Dates (Tentative):

• Last date of submission of application form: Mid February, 2011
• General Discussion and Personal Interview: March 2011 onwards

Selection Process:

The selection procedures of the candidates who apply for the AIT MBA are as follows:
Either the scores of the students in the examinations like CAT/XAT/MAT/GCCAT/GMAT is analyzed.
Or else the student will have to appear in the entrance test conducted by the college.

After shorlisting the candidates on this front, the students are then processed further for the personal interview and Group discussion. The conducts of the entire three tests are analyzed together in the final part of the selection procedure. Candidates with more extracurricular activities and work experience are given priority.
