The corporation actually came into existence under Genco alongwith Indraprastha Power Generation Co. Limited. Indraprastha Power Generation Co. Limited actually came into existence in the year 2002. Job Profile:

Eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the following positions of Dy. Manager, Assistant Manager, Medical Officer and Public Relation Officer in Pragati Power Corporation Limited. Candidates with some years of experience in the relevant field will get preference over others at the time of final selections.

1. Recruitment of Deputy Manager:
No. of posts: Only 15 posts are available.
Age Limit: The upper age limit set for the post is 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics or Communication or Control & Instrumentation branch is required for the post with atleast 65% marks in aggregate. Candidates should also possess atleast 6 years of post qualification experience.
Pay Scale: Rs. 19000-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Manager:
No. of posts: Only 7 posts are available.
Age Limit: The upper age limit set for the post is 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduation degree with atleast 2 years full time MBA with 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates should also possess atleast 2 years of post qualification experience in Human Resource.
Pay Scale: Rs. 19000-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

3. Recruitment of Medical Officer:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: The upper age limit set for the post is 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess MBBS degree from a recognized institute or university. Candidates are required to possess a certificate or Diploma of Training in Industrial health of minimum three months duration.
Pay Scale: Rs. 19000-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

4. Recruitment of Public Relation Officer:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: The upper age limit set for the post is 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess ful time reglar Graduation degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized universite. Candidates should have excellent command over English or Hindi Language.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10900-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to submit the prescribed amount of application fee by the means of a Demand Draft. The demand draft should be made in favour of Pragati Power Corporation Limited payable at New Delhi.

For General and OBC categories candidates: Rs. 400 only.

However, no fee is to be submitted by SC/ST/PWD candidates. All candidates should also write their name and position applied for, on the backside of their demand draft.
