Profile:

Institute of Advanced Study in Science & Technology (IASST) is an Autonomous Institute under DST, Government of India. The institute was set up in the year 1979 by the Assam Science Society. The main objective of the institute is to deal with problems of the north east in particular and the country.

Job Profile:

Candidates with Indian origin only can apply for the post of Assistant Professor in Institute of Advanced Study in Science & Technology (IASST) under the Government of India.

Eligibility:

The age limit for the posts of Assistant Professor in preferably below 40 years.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have a degree of Ph.D. with excellent academic record. Four years experience as doctor in the relevant field is desired for the posts of Assistant professor.

Posts Available: There are only 5 posts available for the position of Assistant Professor.

Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- will be given as a salary to the selected candidates.
