Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board came into existence on the occassion of the 50th Anniversary year of the independence of the country. The selection board was established by the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. The major objective behind the establishment of the board was to have aresponsible body for making recruitment of capable, competent and highly skilled individuals or persons through the means of conducting written tests and personal interviews sessions.

Job Profile:

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board is recruiting eligible candidates on the following positions of Assistant Teacher and Primary Teacher. Both of the specified positions are available in different departments of Government of NCT of Delhi.

Eligibility:

Assistant Teacher: The minimum age limit set for the post is 20 years while the maximum age limit set for the post is 27 years.

Primary Teacher: The minimum age limit set for the post is 20 years while the maximum age limit set for the post is 27 years.

Relaxation of 5 years will be provided to the SC/ST candidates while relaxation of 3 years will be provided to OBC category candidates. Other reserved categories candidates may also get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Primary Teacher: Candidates should possess Senior Secondary or Intermediate or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board with Urdu as a subject at Secondary level. Candidates should also possess two years Diploma or certificate course in ETE.

Assistant Teacher: Candidates should possess Senior Secondary or Intermediate or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board with Hindi as a subject at Secondary level. Candidates should also possess two years Diploma or certificate course in ETE.

Assistant Teacher of NCT of Delhi: Total 6500 posts are available.
(Gen-2886, OBC-1610, SC-939, ST-1065, OH-99 and VH-152)

Primary Teacher of MCD: Total 520 posts are available.
(Gen-186, OBC-148, SC-36, ST-150 and PH-28)

Application Fee:

Submission of application fee is must before applying for any of the two specified posts. Candidates should submit the prescribed amount of application fee in the form of Demand Draft.

Amount of application fee for General and OBC categories candidates: Rs. 100 only.
No fee is to be submitted by SC/ST/PH categories candidates.

How to apply: Dully filled in application form alongwith the two recent coloured passport size photograph (one should be pasted on the application form and second should be attested by Gazetted officer) and photocopies of relevant certificates.
