Bharati Vidyapeeth University is a reputed University in India. This institute conducts an entrance exam called Bharati Vidyapeeth University Under graduate Management Admission Test (B-UMAT) for the selection of aspiring candidates for the admission of various courses. The main courses offered by the institute are Bachelor of Computer application (BCA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). The duration of both of these courses is three years.  This University is approved by The Ministry of human resource Management. BVIMR provides best facilities and quality education for their students. It offers better placement support to their students. A large number of candidates from all over India apply for the entrance test each year.

Structure of B-UMAT

The selection of the candidates for the BBA and BCA programme is based on the written test and a personal interview. The Admission Test BUMAT consists of objective type exam. The time duration of the exam will be Two and a half hours.  The test will consists of 200 multiple choice questions and carries 200 marks. Each question carries four options and the candidates have to identify the most appropriate answer. It should be marked in the OMR answer sheet using a HB pencil. Each question carries one mark and no any mark is deducted for incorrect answers. The aim of the exam is to analyze the candidates’ subject knowledge, problem solving skill, time management skill etc. Those who clear the admission test have to attend for an interview. The candidates who come across both the tests will be called for the counseling session.

Syllabus for B-UMAT

The Bharati Vidyapeeth University Under graduate Management Admission Test (B-UMAT) consists of 200 objective type questions. The test is divided into four parts and they are specified below.

Section 1

Test of Numerical Aptitude (60 Questions) – 60 Marks

Section 2

Test of Reasoning / Logical Aptitude (60 Questions) – 60 Marks

Section 3

Test of Verbal Ability (60 Questions) – 60 Marks

Section 4

Test of Reading Comprehension (20 Questions) – 20 Marks

Eligibility Criteria

The basic requirement for the candidates to apply for the admission test is to have completed their HSC Examination from any recognized Board in any stream with 45% marks (aggregate). 5% relaxation of marks is provided for the SC/ST candidates. The final year plus two students can apply for the students. They should have completed all their exams before the time of admission and mark lists should be produced. Otherwise it will lead to the cancellation of the chance of the candidates. The candidate should be an Indian citizen. There is no any age limit for applying for the test.

How to Apply?

Candidates can obtain the application form and exam prospectus directly from the office of any Institutes under the University by a cash payment of Rs.500/-. The candidates can register for the exam online through the link www.bvuniversity.edu.in. The candidates can receive the application form through post by transferring a requisition letter with a Demand Draft of Rs.700/- in the name of Registrar of Bharati Vidyapeeth University.

How to fill the Form?

The instructions for filling the application form are mentioned in the exam prospectus. The candidates have to follow all the instructions to avoid mistakes in filling the form. The completely filed form should be sent to the University Registrars office. The online applicants can download the instructions for filling the form. The details of the fee payment details like DD number, name of bank, etc should be mentioned in the form. The candidates have to take the print out copy of the completely filled form and it should be forwarded to the concerned address with the Demand draft. The candidates name, course, form number and contact number should be mentioned at the backside of the demand draft. The duly filled form with all relevant documents should be sent before the due date.

The list of the candidates eligible for getting admission will be published in the University website www.bharatividyapeethuniversity.net and in all institutes under Bharati Vidyapeeth University. Separate lists are published for general and management category students. The candidates have to check it for availing the details of counseling. No separate message is send to the candidates.

Score Validity

The admission test is conducted on each year by the university. so the score of the test have one year validity.
